Brand Strategy

More than a logo. A complete brand system.

We design custom brand identities built to work everywhere, from a business card to a billboard and from a website to a social profile.

Your identity should be as distinctive as your business.

Most logos are forgettable. They get picked from a template, generated by an AI tool, or designed in a vacuum without any real understanding of the business behind them. We do it differently. Every brand identity we create starts with discovery, where we get to know your audience, your market, your competitors, and what makes your business worth remembering. The visual work that follows isn't decoration. It's strategy made visible.

A complete brand identity is more than a logo. It's a system: the logo and its variations, a color palette, a typography system, and the rules that govern how everything works together. We deliver all of it, in every format you'll need, with a brand guide that keeps it consistent long after we've handed it off.

Our Approach

What you can expect from our brand identity work

Your brand should be as unique as your business, not the other way around. Every identity we design is custom, strategic, and built to last.

01

Logo Design

Custom logo concepts developed from scratch, with no templates, no clip art, and no AI-generated shortcuts. We present concepts with rationale, refine them based on your feedback, and finalize a logo that represents your business accurately and memorably.

02

Logo System & Variations

Every logo we deliver comes as a complete system: three core layouts (horizontal, vertical, and standalone logomark), each in full color and one color. The horizontal layout works across website navigation, letterhead, and wide formats. The vertical layout is mark-dominant and built for packaging, signage, and square applications. The logomark stands alone without text or tagline, the way the Nike swoosh stands alone. That's six standard configurations, so your brand looks right wherever it shows up.

03

Color Palette

A primary and secondary color palette developed to reflect your brand personality, work across digital and print, and meet accessibility contrast standards. It's delivered with hex, RGB, and CMYK values for every color, so your brand stays consistent whether it's on screen or in print.

04

Typography System

Primary and secondary typeface selection chosen for brand fit, legibility, and real-world performance. We pick fonts with digital utility in mind, favoring Google Fonts and web-safe alternatives where possible, so you're not locked into expensive licensing fees down the road or stuck with fonts that slow your website down. Includes heading, body, and accent type specifications with sizing and weight guidance.

05

Brand Guidelines

Every brand identity we deliver includes a brand guide documenting logo usage rules, color values, typography specifications, and clear space requirements. Brand identity defines what your brand is. Brand guidelines define how it stays consistent as more people, partners, and markets come into contact with it. One without the other doesn't hold up.

06

File Delivery Package

Final files delivered in every format you'll need: AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, and PDF. They're organized by variation and format so nothing gets lost and every use case is covered, from print production to digital to embroidery to signage and branded collateral.

The Process

How we design a brand identity

  1. 01

    Discovery & Research

Stakeholder interviews or brand workshops, audience research, and a competitive audit. We understand the business and the market before we sketch a single concept.

  2. 02

    Competitive Audit

A structured review of how competitors present themselves visually: what's common, what's differentiated, and where the opportunity to stand out actually lives.

  3. 03

    Concept Development

Logo concepts developed from scratch in Illustrator and Figma, each grounded in the discovery findings and presented with the rationale behind every decision.

  4. 04

    Refinement & Approval

We collect your feedback, incorporate it, and refine until the selected direction is exactly right. The number of concept and revision rounds is scoped per engagement.

  5. 05

    System Build

The approved logo direction is built out into the full identity system, with all variations, the color palette, the typography system, and usage rules finalized and documented.

  6. 06

    Delivery & Handoff

Final files packaged in all formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, PDF) alongside the completed brand guide. Organized, labeled, and ready to deploy across every application.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many logo concepts do you present?

It depends on the scope of the engagement. We present the number of concepts agreed on at the start of the project, enough to explore meaningful directions without creating decision paralysis. We'd rather show you three strong concepts than ten weak ones.

Do you do rebrands or just new brands?

Both. Whether you're starting from scratch or evolving an established identity, the process is similar. The difference is how much existing equity we need to preserve, and we'll tell you upfront how much of what you have is worth keeping.

What if I don't like any of the concepts?

That's rare when discovery is done well, because the concepts are grounded in what we learned about your business rather than what we personally find interesting. If a direction genuinely isn't working, we talk through why and adjust. We'd rather get it right than move forward with something you're not proud of.

Do you handle brand naming?

Sometimes. If you need a name before the identity work can begin, we can scope that as part of the engagement, including concept development, rationale, and basic availability screening. Get in touch and we'll talk through what you need.

What file formats are included in the delivery?

AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, and PDF, all organized by variation and format. You'll have everything you need for print production, digital use, embroidery, signage, and any other application your brand shows up in.

What's the difference between brand identity and brand guidelines?

Brand identity defines what your brand is: the logo, color palette, typography, imagery style, voice, and personality. Brand guidelines document how it all gets applied consistently, covering usage rules, color codes, spacing requirements, and dos and don'ts. Identity comes first, and guidelines follow. Both are included in every engagement we deliver, because one without the other doesn't hold up once more than one person is creating branded materials.
